Now that we’re live, let’s engage EMI
We’ve had a relationship with EMI For a couple years now. And we’ve held off on actioning it for a few reasons: 1. Our software wasn’t complete 2. They used to insist on DRM 3. We couldn’t afford the pre-payment for content. Now that 2/3 are out of the way, we can explore interesting partnership arrangements with them to start delivering their content.
It’s important to offer as much content as possible - particularly with our “non-storefront” model. So engaging EMI is a big step toward that and offering their content will be very exciting.
